YOHJI YAMAMOTO AT THE V&A 12 March - 10 July 2011

Over the summer break i also had a chance to visit The Yohji Yamamoto exhibition at the V&A. The V&A has got to be my favourite museum throughout London, and when i saw an exhibition about Yohji Yamamoto i couldn't wait to see it, and Curator Ligaya Salazar didn't disappoint.
As you entered the exhibition room filled with light, mannequins with various silhouettes textures and colours filled the room, with small video installations and programmes from various shows and archives. As you walked round the room from mannequin to mannequin you could see how Yamamoto had grown as a Designer, the exhibition also told of his childhood and how that had sculpted him into the designer he is now, overall i throughly enjoyed the exhibition, The V&A never disappoints.
